Elizabeth : Progress Report as of April 1, 2016

The pain in my left temporomandibular joint (TMJ)  has disappeared.  In addition, my temporomandibular joint no clicks when I open my mouth.  I started suffering from TMJ pain about 15 years ago.  During that time, I saw over 5 dental specialists and underwent numerous x-rays and tests.  None of the specialists could pinpoint the exact cause for my problem, and each suggested a treatment that was much different from the treatments suggested by the other specialists.  I ended up not pursuing any of the treatments, and had decided to  live with the pain.  Right now, I am totally pain free and have been so for at least the last several months.

The hearing in both of my ears has improved.  I am hearing sounds that I haven't heard in years.  In addition, sounds and voices that I was able to hear before are clearer and richer.  Overall, I feel that I am hearing much more of what is going on around me than before I started the treatments.

My face is looking more relaxed and youthful.  When I arrived at the clinic, my face was puffy and drawn and I had very dark circles under my eyes.  Also, my facial muscles and the corners of my lips were pulling downward.  I feel that my face is firmer and more lifted now and that the dark circles under my eyes have diminished.

I am less shaky than I was when I arrived for my first visit.  When I arrived for my first visit at Dr. Yi's Clinic, my hands were visibly shaky.  My right hand would shake when I tried to pour a small  bottle of water into a glass, or when I tried to sign my name.  My hands no longer shake.  Possibly I was exhibiting signs of Parkinson's Disease. In any case, now the tremors are gone.  In addition, overall, I react more calmly to stressful situations than I did before I started my treatments .
